Tammy LeMoine is the owner and founder of Starfish Bakery since 2021.  They are based out of a shared kitchen in Hillsborough, called the NC-Piedmont Food and Processing Center.  She started baking whoopie pies and lemon bars and delivering throughout the Chapel Hill, Hillsborough and Durham area.  They have expanded to create charcuterie tables and offer small-scale catering with our baked goods.  They recently created a packaged item that we intend for local stores in the freezer section.

It all started after being involved in the local public schools for many years, Tammy had the idea to gather “empty nest” parents with young adults in our community. Starfish Bakery wants to lend a helping hand to young adults, hiring them at a fair wage, while also providing some professional guidance and mentorship after high school.
