(A member cannot talk about separate and open categories even if that is part of her business.  Ex: an Esthetician cannot talk about skincare products even if the Cosmetics seat is unfilled.)

The Membership Team should use the following category descriptions when making category overlap decisions.

Banking: Can talk about bank accounts such as checking, savings, CDs, etc. Also includes auto and boat loans. Cannot talk about mortgages, wealth management, credit card processing, or insurance products.

Cosmetics: Can talk about skincare, makeup, body products such as lotions, etc.

Esthetician: Can talk about services such as facials, eyelashes, waxing, body treatments, etc. Cannot talk about skincare products.

Financial Services: Usually a Certified Financial Planner. Can talk about their financial products, but not life insurance.

Insurance: Business, Liability, Home, Auto: Usually an insurance broker. Cannot talk about life insurance.

Insurance: Life: Can only talk about life insurance. If they have other products, may need to add a category to include the product(s). Cannot represent herself as a financial advisor.

Mortgage: Residential: Can talk about residential mortgage products only. Can work at a bank or a mortgage company, but can only be employed as a mortgage lender.

Website Design: Can only talk about website design. If they have other products such as social media, may need to add a category to include the product(s).
