I decided I wanted to work in television news when I was around six years old. My dad and I watched the news every night after dinner and I became hooked! Immediately after graduating college I had a great opportunity to spend five years in international radio writing and reporting. I then transitioned to television news, achieving my original goal.

I learned a tremendous amount about presentation as a news anchor, reporter and lifestyle host. Now I coach professionals who want to show up confidently in many ways including in sales meetings, media interviews and presentations to large and small groups. The pandemic inspired me to put my expertise into a book called Tips From The TV Lady®.

Here’s why I do this work. It breaks my heart to know so many people struggle to share their gifts with the world because they can’t communicate effectively. I believe each of us has been blessed with gifts that we are supposed to share. Far too many people miss out on opportunities because they fear putting themselves out there or they put themselves out there and they feel like they failed. Communicating effectively is about waaaay more than your words. It’s about the words as well as how you deliver them.

In addition to coaching, I work in front of the camera as a TV host, spokesperson and actor representing brands in television commercials and web videos. You can also hear my voice in commercials, web videos, audio books, and training videos.
