Upon earning a journalism degree and working as a newspaper editor, public relations/advertising professional and corporate communications manager, Angela opened Communicopia in 1998 — a full-service public relations agency based in historic downtown Wake Forest.

Communicopia provides marketing communications services for social media, websites, news releases, feature articles, marketing collateral (brochures, rack cards, flyers, postcards), branding strategy, marketing and communications plan development; crisis communications; media relations; promotional events and speaking engagements.

In addition to WIN, Angela is a member of the Wake Forest Rotary Club and board member for the Raleigh Professional Women’s Forum (RPWF). She is  chair of the Wake Forest Community Council and the Wake Forest Community Christmas Dinner. She has served as secretary of ARTS Wake Forest; vice chairwomen of Wake Forest Downtown Inc, founding committee member of Women’s Business Alliance of the Wake Forest Chamber; president of Friends of Rolesville FFA, member of the Rolesville Athletic Club and the Rolesville High Business Alliance and served on the board of directors for SAFEchild. She lives in Wake Forest with her husband Warner and they have one daughter, Camryn.
