Carole L. Pope, Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist #12671

About Carole:

In 1996, she sustained a work related injury that changed the course of her life. After spending almost ten years on the couch in a pain medicine induced coma, Carole sought out alternative treatments. “Massage was the only thing that kept me moving.”

In 2005, Carole had vein surgery on her left leg and was able to regain control of her foot. She gave up her cane within 30 days and weaned herself off all her pain medicines. She took up Bikram Hot Yoga for the detoxifying benefits and increased mobility.

In 2009, Carole completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at Franklin Street Yoga Center.

In 2012, she completed her 600 hour massage therapy certification and became licensed by the state of North Carolina.

In 2020, Carole completed certification in Craniosacral Fascial Therapy CFT – The Gillespie Approach.

WINner of IndyWeek’s Best of the Best Massage Therapist for 2024 and 2023.

Voted IndyWeek’s Best Massage Therapist for Orange and Chatham Counties for 2024 and 2023.

Voted IndyWeek’s Best of the Triangle finalist for Massage Therapy for 2020, 2021 and 2022.

She has the desire to bring healing to others through massage. Carole believes in working with what you’ve got and making the most out of it.  Fascia work is beneficial for anybody no matter age because some fascial strains can begin before birth.
