Gifts for dog lovers and so much more!

My husband and I fly rescue dogs for Pilots N Paws.   Pilots N Paws is an organization of  volunteers that are committed to saving animals from kill shelters. We fly the dogs from kill shelters to safe shelters where they can be adopted into forever homes and live the happy life they so much deserve.

I had been searching for a Yorkie /Shihtzu for over a year and finally we found a little girl in a shelter.  When we brought her home I was on a mission to find cute, upscale looking clothes for her…..but, had no success. I contacted a friend on the west coast and she put me in contact with a doggie clothing designer.  I started buying cute outfits for Abigail and it wasn’t long before her closet was packed. Friends kept telling me I should open a doggie boutique. After many months of research, meeting designers & vendors, my husband designed a website and within a few months…Gate Nine Doggie Boutique was in business.  In addition to online sales we also started doing popups and shows.  It became obvious there is demand for upscale clothing & accessories.  Our website is very popular…..(maybe it’s because of Abigail’s “blog”) :-). She has over 112k followers.🐾

We held a Christmas Doggie Fashion Show in December and had 24 models (18 were rescue dogs) with over 350 people in attendance.

Proceeds from our boutique go into flying more dogs from high kill shelters to safe shelters for adoption.

We have been featured in several newspapers & magazines including, Wake Weekly, 27587 Magazine (a reporter & photographer flew with us on a rescue flight), Midtown Magazine,  Fox13, Orlando, FL and numerous other news media.

Please adopt!  Don’t shop!  There are so many wonderful dogs in shelters that desperately need love & the life they so much deserve.
