Caren Osborne is the CEO of Caren’s Organizing Solutions. She’s always been a very organized person. She got that skill from both of my parents. Her dad’s desk at work was always clean with papers in very neat piles. He always knew where anything was on or in his desk. Her mom kept a very neat and organized house with no clutter and everything put away in its place.
This training from her parents carried over to her own house and work environment. Everything had its place in the kitchen, in the closets and in the dresser drawers. Over the last 20 years, every time her daughter moved out of or into a new place, she was called upon to help get her packed and help get her organized after she unpacked and every few months after that. So, when she learned about the Productive Environment Institute in 2020, she jumped at the opportunity to take their training and to become a Certified Productive Environment Specialist.
She loves helping individuals, small business owners and solopreneurs go from overwhelmed to productive when it comes to office organization. She teaches them the tools to be consistent, confident and in control of their office and, therefore, their business. As a result of working with her they will have an organized workspace with maintainable systems so that they can accomplish their work, have a business that thrives, and are able to enjoy their life.
Prior to retiring from the corporate world in 2017 and setting herself up as an entrepreneur, Caren worked as a project manager for Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Co, with a company based out of Portland, OR implementing Medicaid managed care programs for 5 states, and a software vendor based out of Boston, MA implementing their ERP system in colleges and universities around the country.
Caren moved to Chapel Hill, NC in August 2020, after living in Connecticut for 44 years, to be near her daughter and grandchildren after her husband, Rick passed away. In addition to running Nanny camp on snow days and teacher work days for Mia – 8, Charlie – 6, and Oliver – 3 1/2, attending soccer games, footballs games and dance recitals for her grandkids, Caren enjoys gardening, needle crafts, walking, traveling, and being on the beach. She also has a rescue dog named Sadie and a rescue cat named Dorie.
