Plan your visitor day at least 5 weeks out so that all your WIN members are aware and know their role in the visitor day.
Create a flyer for your WIN landing page that can also be utilized in your WIN Facebook page. Have your members use their own social media platforms to reach out to their connections. Have a strategic plan for engagement to increase reach!
You can also place that WIN Facebook flyer on our WIN Corporate Facebook page under the mentions section.
On your WIN Facebook page use the Event section as it also provides those interested in coming follow up reminders of your event.
Take the flyer you and your team created and place it at the top of your WIN Chapter Landing Page; please remove it once the VD event is over.
When making your visitor day flyer be certain to include all the pertinent information that your guests will need to ensure they know where, when, time, speaker topic, food, or beverage if you will be serving anything at your event.
Be certain to email your flyer to Trish Bass at trish.r.bass@gmail.com and copy me on the flyer at bobbie@win-nc.com so that we can promote your event. Include picture or pictures so that we can use them on our WIN Google Business Page.
Each week Trish can help to promote your VD event. However, she needs more images as no platform provides reach without pictures, images, videos, etc. She needs just one of those and any updates you can provide.
Know the WIN offering for potential new members which is on our website. Be certain MC lets visitors know the process for applying to your chapter.
Please email the sign-in sheets to Allyson Rayfield (allysonrayfield@gmail.com) so the new members get credit, and we waive the $25.00 application fee.
To get the most value for your efforts in the VD event you need to follow up with your visitors. Pick members to help if needed.
FAST Tips and Resources:
Pick a hot and engaging topic for a small business or something all women in business can relate to or are extremely interested in learning more about.
Remember speaker’s bureau is not only for a Visitor Day, but also an opportunity for more educational opportunities for your chapter! Also, remember if you use them to be certain to promote them as mentioned on the speaker’s bureau page.
To get the most out of your visitor day event you must do the follow up. Pick members to help if needed.

Strategically pick the categories that you and your existing members need to grow their businesses. Do NOT invite other current WIN members to your event.
Make certain your MC sends the correct follow-up letter on our website as it also reminds them they can save $25.00 if they apply within fourteen days of the VD event.
Make certain your members get new connections whether your visitors join or not by seating them next to a potential referral source!
