Acquinetta Beatty is the Director of Carolina Small Business Development
Fund’s Southeastern Coastal Women’s Venture Center (SCWVC) in
partnership with the YWCA in Wilmington, NC. The SCWVC is located in
Wilmington, NC and provides one-on- one counseling and coaching to women
entrepreneurs in Southeastern North Carolina. Acquinetta will also originate
CSBDF loans focusing on the underserved populations in the region and
provide relevant and impactful training and workshops to emerging and
established businesses in the area. Acquinetta is a native of Southeastern NC
and has worked in the area for the past 25 years. She has a Bachelor’s of
Science in Industrial Engineering from N. C. A&T State University. She has a
passion for her region and is excited to have the opportunity to work within her
community. Acquinetta believes that there is work to be done and we all have
a skill that we can use to accomplish it.
