What are Permalinks?

Permalinks are permanent links to your member page.  Search engines use them as part of the indexing process.  They should be a very short version of the key components of your page.  For WIN we use the Title of your home page to form the permalink.  It can only have lower case letters and a few special characters.  You can share your permalink with anyone and they can link to your member page.  If you change your business, you may want to ask us change your permalink.

If you ask us to change your permalink, we will also add a “301 redirect” which will cause your old permalink to link to the new one.
