Anyone may visit a WIN chapter even if there is a possibility that her business category conflicts with an existing member. Each visitor should be directed by the Visitor Host to the Membership Coordinator if the visitor expresses an interest in joining WIN. If there is a conflict with an existing member, the Membership Coordinator can refer the visitor to another chapter or the visitor can be put on a Wait List. The visitor may only visit a chapter one (1) time if it has been determined that there is a conflict with an existing member’s category.

A visitor may attend a chapter meeting three (3) times if her category is not filled. A Membership application may be submitted at any time within those three (3) visits. Once a visitor has submitted an application, she may continue to attend until her application has been approved or declined as long as there is a valid opening in the chapter. A valid opening exists when the addition of the applicant will keep the percent of direct sales to total members at 20% or less. Visitors will be allowed to offer a 30-second commercial after all members have given their 30-second commercial.

Policy: Visitors Day

Each chapter typically has a special, designated Visitors Day meeting twice a year. When a visitor’s first visit to a chapter is on a designated Visitors Day, the New Member Registration Fee of $25.00 will be waived if she applies for membership online within 14 days after attending the Visitors Day.

Actions to be taken:

  1. In order for this fee to be waived, the Membership Coordinator must send a copy of all visitor sign in sheets to: allysonrayfield@gmail.com.
  2. Membership Coordinator must send Visitors Day Followup Emails to all visitors except current WIN members, if specified.
