1. Speaker must be a member of WIN for at least one (1) year and be current with dues.
  2. Member and topic must be approved by Bobbie Hennessy (bobbie@win-nc.com).
  3. The topic must be of value to our members (ex: anything regarding business development, professional or personal growth).
  4. Speakers can promote their business; however, it cannot not be the focus of the talk. Speakers can mention their business at the end of their talk. Flyers or Business Cards are fine. She can also talk at the beginning of “why” she is the expert.
  5. Chapters that have 15 members or more should have PD meetings no more than three (3) times a year. Chapters with less than 15 members can have up to four (4) PD meetings per year.
  6. Chapters can reach out to those members on the approved speakers list as long as that category is not held in that chapter.
  7. Members must be invited to do a presentation by the chapter and be on the approved speakers list. Members cannot reach out to the chapters.
  8. Speakers outside of WIN are acceptable for Visitors Day events at the chapter’s discretion.

 

SUGGESTED TOPICS FOR WIN SPEAKER’S BUREAU:

  • SEO, branding, web design, social media advertising, and email campaigns.
  • Content—Presenter should be an experienced copywriter, blog, website copy, technical, or social media writer.
  • How to be a better Networker!
  • D.I.S.C. presentation—Personality profiles are very popular, and she needs to be experienced in this area.
  • How to achieve optimal health and wellness.
  • Business development to include the resources needed to grow your business (attorney, CPA, business coach, marketing professional, etc.).
  • Inspiration through personal empowerment.
